The Consul General Of Nigeria in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, Amb. Amina Amira Samaila, has presented an award of recognition for extraordinary contributions and outstanding achievements as a Citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and a remarkable contributor to society, to Engr. Prince Ero Ibhafidon.
He was presented with the Citizen Recognition Award at the 62nd Independence Anniversary of Nigeria, held at Millennium Gate Museum Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
Event visitors and guests from 17 US States that are part of the Atlanta Nigerian Consulate‘s area of responsibility were in attendance.
Ibhafidon is the founder/CEO of Waterlight Industries Limited. He is also the President of Waterlight Save Initiative, a non-profit organization designed to alleviate poverty and improve the quality of life of Africans both at home and in the Diaspora.
The organisation focuses on youth employment, health care, education, housing, energy supply, and Nigerians in the Diaspora aiding job opportunities in countries they found themselves, discovering and blocking avenues through which Africans are engaged in human trafficking and become enslaved all over the world.
