Idele Commends Tinubu For Appointment, Pledges Effective Women Mobilisation For 2027

Dr Mary Idele has expressed appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing her as Secretary of the Women Mobilisation Directorate of the Presidential Campaign Council.

Idele described the appointment as a call to duty and an opportunity to contribute to the success of the progressive agenda and the consolidation of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

She pledged to deploy her experience in grassroots engagement, women’s empowerment, organisational coordination, and political mobilisation to ensure the effective mobilisation of women nationwide ahead of the 2027 general election.

Idele said the primary responsibility of the Women Mobilisation Directorate was to galvanise Nigerian women and build a strong grassroots mobilisation structure capable of securing President Tinubu’s victory at the polls.

She said she was committed to working with women leaders, stakeholders and party members across the country to strengthen participation, coordination and mobilisation in support of the President.

According to her, the assignment requires unity, dedication, and strategic engagement with women at the grassroots, noting that women remain a critical force in Nigeria’s electoral process.

Idele further pledged to support the progressive cause and work towards ensuring that President Tinubu secures a decisive victory in the 2027 presidential election.

She thanked President Tinubu for the confidence reposed in her and promised to justify the appointment through hard work, loyalty and effective delivery of the mandate.”
