A group under the aegis of the Initiative For Transparency and Justice (IFTAJ)  in Kebbi State has said it fights corruption and injustice and does not witch hunt politicians in the state.

Coordinator of the group, Shehu Isa S/Kudu and the secretary general, Comrade Usman Muhammed Anache clarified this in a statement they issued yesterday to journalists in Birnin Kebbi metropolis.

The clarification was on the heels of a report credited to the group titled, ” Group Faults APC Stalwarts Attack On Aleiro,” which according them, was not the intention of the group to witch hunt individuals or politicians in the state.

They also said that while IFTAJ’s mandate is to fight injustice, liars and corruption in the society it cannot be used by any group or political party or politicians to blackmail politicians or parties in the state and the country.
