Iheanacho joined the Rojiblancos on a free transfer last summer.

The 28-year-old however struggled to make impact at the club, failing to hit target in nine league appearances.

The Nigeria international however scored twice in the Copa del Rey.
Iheanacho was loaned to Sky Bet Championship club Middlesbrough in January.

The former Leicester City player registered one goal and two assists in 15 league outings while at Middlesbrough.
