The Quomodo Swimming Grand Slam competition, organised for school children, will take place on Saturday in Lagos. Ikoyi Club 1938 will host the event, which is the second in the series. Young swimmers from primary and secondary schools are expected to compete for honours in this highly anticipated one-day event, which is set to be exciting.

The sponsors, Quomodo, have assured the young swimmers of a memorable experience at the swimming section of Ikoyi Club this Saturday. Events to be contested include butterfly, breaststroke, backstroke, freestyle, individual medley, and relays. Mr Akinbulejo Onabolu, Chairman of the Ikoyi Club Swimming Section, assured on Wednesday that everything is in place for the event.

He expressed satisfaction with the sponsors’ commitment to developing young talent, which aligns with the club’s vision. “We are fully prepared for the children because Ikoyi Club is rapidly becoming the hub of swimming, not only in Lagos but throughout Nigeria.

Our aim is to continue this momentum, and in the future, we expect to produce superstars that will shine on the global stage,” Onabolu added.
