Nigerian international Kelechi Iheanacho has declared that he is fit and ready for the demands of playing in the Scottish Premiership.
The forward, who joined Celtic Park on a free transfer earlier this month, scored on his debut for the Scottish club.
Iheanacho expressed his commitment during the game, claiming he is capable of playing a full 90 minutes.
“If you really watch the game, you can see I’m making runs to get the ball. I’m really fit, and I’m ready to go for the season,” Iheanacho told Gazette Live UK.
“Am I ready to play 90 minutes? Of course, you’ll see. If you watch the team, you’ll notice there are many qualities and great players.
“Getting to know the boys and training with them has taught me a lot in the last few days.
“As a football player, criticism is part of the game,” he added. “When things aren’t going well, you just need to stay strong; you can’t lose your mind. It’s a professional game, so focus and keep working. When it clicks, you just keep going.”
