Imo APC Opens Appeal Window For Reps Primary Complaints

The Imo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has directed aspirants dissatisfied with the outcome of the recently concluded House of Representatives primary elections to submit their petitions on Monday, May 18, 2026.

In a statement issued on Sunday, the chairman and secretary of the APC National Assembly Primary Appeal Committee for Imo State, Tuoyo Omatstuli and Hon. Godwin Anaughe, announced that the committee had been inaugurated to handle complaints arising from the primaries conducted on Saturday, May 16.

The committee advised aggrieved aspirants to file their petitions at the APC State Secretariat, located at 47 Okigwe Road, Owerri, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

According to the statement, aspirants seeking to challenge the outcome of the primaries are expected to submit their complaints and appear before the committee within the stipulated timeframe.

The committee added that it could be contacted during sitting hours.
