Imo Women Urged To Support Uzodimma’s Administration

Chairman of Imo State Civil Service Commission, Dr Julie Onyeukwu, has charged Imo women to unite and support the administration of   Senator Hope Uzodimma.

Onyeukwu gave the charge when Umuada Ekwema Arugo led by their president general, Hon Mrs Angela Akuoma paid her a solidarity visit at her office .

She stated that the state governor, Hope Uzodimma is committed to improving the lots of Imo youths by employing them in various government establishments in the state. She added that youths are special gift with great potentials and are leaders of tomorrow.

Hon Onyeukwu maintained that Governor Uzodimma’s administration believes in gender mainstreaming and equality of opportunities for men and women.

She stressed that the governor also believes in merit and equally believes that everybody must be given opportunity to practice that which God endowed on him.

The civil service commission boss further called for commitment and dedication among the citizenry, and appealed for prays for the present administration led by Uzodimma to succeed.

While urging the citizens to work in unity for improved services and lasting legacy, Onyeukwu, emphasized on the need for Umuada Ekwema Arugo to create lasting footprints for others to emulate by promoting team work and cordial relationship in the discharge of their duties as mothers.

Onyeukwu used the opportunity to call on parents and guardians to give proper attention and training that will help discover and harness God given talents in their children, so as to achieve their goals in life.

She described her appointment as a divine project and prayed that God will sustain the governor to keep on marching every effort with impact.

In her remarks, the president general of Umuada Ekwema Arugo, Mrs Angela Akuoma thanked the state governor Senator Uzodimma for appointing their beloved sister as the chairman civil service commission.
