The senator representing Niger East, Mohammed Sani Musa, has challenged his constituents to protect themselves and cooperate with security agencies to ensure their safety as Gbagyi socio-cultural group under the auspices of Paigokni Development Association holds its maiden economic and security summit.

The senator decried the security challenges confronting the entire Gbagyi land and called for cooperation between the people and the security agencies to end the trend.

Last Sunday a Catholic Priest Isaac Achi was burnt alive and the parish set ablaze at Kaffin Koro in the same local government area. The senator also called on the people to emulate their Nupe counterpart by respecting their leaders and traditional institutions in a bid to advance in all spheres of endeavours.

Musa said he had made tremendous achievements in the areas of employment, education, agriculture, social intervention among others even as he launched two books of Gbagyi extraction with N10 million.
