The Institute of Leadership Assessment and Development (ILAD) has congratulated Dr Bashir Idris, popularly known as Lifidin Jama’a, on his reappointment as the registrar and chief executive officer of the Community Health Practitioners Registration Board of Nigeria (CHPRBN). In a statement signed by its director general, Dr Baba Ransome Adamu, ILAD described the reappointment as a strong affirmation of Dr Idris’ visionary leadership, dedication, and national impact in advancing community healthcare delivery in Nigeria.

The congratulatory message followed a grand civic reception held in his honour on July 26, 2025, which brought together thousands of community health practitioners and stakeholders nationwide.

“Dr Idris’s reappointment is more than an endorsement of experience; it is a testament to his exceptional stewardship at CHPRBN,” the statement read.

“Under his leadership, the board has evolved from a traditional regulatory agency into a people-focused institution driving excellence, accountability, and professional development across the healthcare sector.”

ILAD commended Dr Idris for strengthening community healthcare delivery, particularly in rural areas, while building institutional capacity and ensuring effective regulation of practitioners nationwide.
