The Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA) has revealed plans to hold Africa’s largest architecture and building exposition from November 25 to 28, 2025, at the new NIA Architectural Village, Idu District, Abuja.

The event will showcase cutting-edge technologies, sustainable design practices and visionary projects transforming Nigeria’s architectural landscape.

In a press statement in Abuja, the president of NIA, Mobolaji Adeniyi, disclosed that as Nigeria marks 65 years of Independence today, NIA is to honour the nation’s resilience, creativity, unity and the “invaluable contributions of our heroes, both living and departed.”
He said, “The theme of this year’s celebration, ‘Nigeria at 65: All Hands-on Deck for a Greater Nation’ is a renewed call to fellow compatriots and members of the built environment to build a future reflecting our shared aspiration and architectural excellence.
“In the spirit of independence, the Nigerian Institute of Architects is proud to re-echo our contribution to the history of nation building by presenting Archibuilt 2025, a premier exhibition and forum for innovation in the built environment.

“Archibuilt is not only a showcase of products and services; it is a national platform for dialogue, collaboration, and a patriotic drive towards progress for our nation. It brings together architects, engineers, surveyors, quantity surveyors, town planners, developers, policymakers, students, professionals, and the public to explore solutions for housing, infrastructure, climate resilience, and urban development.

“This year’s theme speaks to our current national reality of building a nation on a good economic and socio-political foundation, where its professionals are at the forefront of its development.

“Also, it highlights architecture’s crucial role in fostering economic stability, growth and resilience by creating sustainable spaces and prioritising community needs.

“Archibuilt 2025 will feature the building clinic, Nigerian content challenge, students’ innovative projects, artisans’ challenge and much more.

“We invite all Nigerian professionals, entrepreneurs, students, and citizens to participate in Archibuilt 2025. Your voice and vision are vital to the conversation, whether as exhibitors, speakers, volunteers, or attendees,” he said.
