Gombe State governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has been conferred with a fellowship award of the Nigerian College of Accountancy (NCA) Jos.
The award was presented to the governor during the 10th NCA Convocation Ceremony held at the institution’s Campus, Kwall, Jos, Plateau State at the weekend.
According to the college’s authority, the conferment is in recognition of Governor Inuwa’s sterling leadership qualities, track record of good governance, prudent financial management and uncompromising posture for excellence in execution of projects.
The governor was represented at the occasion by the commissioner for finance and economic development, Malam Muhammad Gambo Magaji; the principal private secretary to the governor, Ahmed Kasimu Abdullahi, and the permanent secretary in the Ministry of Environment, Alhaji Abubakar Hassan.
