The leadership of South West of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN) in the early hours of Monday March 2, staged a peaceful protest denouncing invasion and killing of Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Khanemei, by U.S and Israel strikes.
The protest was staged in Maryland axis of Lagos but our reporter cannot confirm possible spread to other areas.

The protest spread fears among the public as the protesters chanted strong provocative words calling for global condemnation of American intervention in sovereign nations.
Some of the IMN leaders who spoke to our correspondent asked the government of Nigeria to reject presence of US troops in Nigeria.

South West coordinator of IMN, Muftau Zakariya, while speaking to LEADERSHIP said the protest is to register their concerns over sustained Invasion of sovereign nations by the Trump administration citing recent instances of Venezuela’s Invasion and seizing of the country’s president and energy infrastructure.
Zakariya, also claimed that terrorism in Nigeria is on the rise since the intervention of the US government.
He said the heightened and sustained attack in Kwara state is coming after the US involvement in the country’s affairs.

“I said to you that nothing good is coming from the US intervention. It is only interested in their economic gains and not minding the consequences thereafter “, he said.
Another leader of the movement, Muhammadu Bashir, said the protest is a means of registering their concerns over the killing of Iranian leaders.
