Ja’afaru Sani Resigns From ADC Ahead Of 2027

The immediate past National Vice Chairman (Northwest) of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and former 2027 governorship aspirant in Kaduna State, Mallam Ja’afaru Ibrahim Sani, has resigned his membership of the party.

Sani announced his resignation in a letter addressed to the Ward Chairman of the ADC in Anchau Ward, Kubau Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

In the letter, Sani said his resignation takes immediate effect.

He thanked the party for the opportunity to serve in various capacities, recalling his role as one of the foundational members of the ADC in Kaduna State and the Northwest region.

“I thank you for the opportunity to serve the party in various capacities as one of the foundational members of the party in Kaduna State and the Northwest,” he stated.

The letter was copied to the National Chairman, Northwest Zonal Chairman and Kaduna State Chairman of the ADC for their information.

Sani’s resignation comes ahead of the 2027 general elections and amid ongoing political realignments across Kaduna State and the Northwest.

There were indications that Sani could be heading to the All Progressives Congress (APC), although he did not disclose his next political destination in the resignation letter.

His departure is expected to generate further political interest in Kaduna State as parties position themselves ahead of the 2027 elections.
