The Joint Action Movement of Nigeria (JAMN) has issued a statement urging for accountability and responsible engagement in public discussions following recent developments involving National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu and Hajiya Najatu Mohammed.

In its statement signed by its Chairman, Lawal Sani Ningi, and Secretary, Deborah Kantiok, JAMN emphasized the importance of fostering a culture of constructive dialogue in addressing national issues.

The organization highlighted the need for all parties to focus on factual discourse and to approach disagreements with a spirit of integrity and accountability.

The controversy stems from allegations made by Najatu Mohammed in a viral video, where she referenced events linked to Ribadu’s tenure as Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Ribadu has since called for verifiable evidence to support the claims.

It emphasized that Nigeria’s progress requires a collective effort anchored in accountability and truth.

JAMN concluded by encouraging Nigerians to remain focused on positive engagements that contribute to national development.
