Northern region of Junior Chamber International (JCI) has trained youths in the region on leadership and skills acquisition.
A statement made available to LEADERSHIP yesterday in Abuja said the JCI Nigeria president, Sandra Ekene Efemuaye, while speaking during the two-day training organised by the executive vice presidents Goodness Morakinyo (EVP North East) and Abayomi Lateef (EVP North-West), stressed commitment to fostering leadership excellence and skill development among the local chapters.
She expressed her enthusiasm for the transformative impact of the event, stating, “The Northern region has set a commendable example in championing the values of service, leadership, and collaboration.
I am confident that the training received will significantly contribute to the success of JCI’s endeavors in the region.”
She said the northern region of JCI Nigeria looks forward to embodying the spirit of service, leadership, and collaboration in the year ahead, as it continues to work towards the ambitious goals outlined in the Sustainable Structure, Engagement, and Efficiency (SEE) agenda for 2024.
On her part, Morakinyo said the session featured comprehensive discussions, strategic planning sessions, and skill-building exercises tailored to equip area team officers and local presidents for the challenges and opportunities of the upcoming year.
JCI Senator Ibrahim Tiamiyu, delivered a compelling presentation on project management within the context of the action framework.
Additionally, JCI Senator Richard Ojo provided insights into leadership development, while JCI Senator Aina Segun Aina shared expertise on team building and collaboration.
He said the gathering also welcomed influential leaders such as the Senate chairman, JCI Senator Rotimi Adewole, and the Northern Alumni chairperson, JCI Senator Morufat Aniso, alongside other distinguished members of the Northern Alumni.
