JCI Lekki Royale has celebrated an historic milestone at its 3rd Annual Royale Convention and Investiture Ceremony, held on November 30, 2024, at the prestigious Swiss International Hotel, VGC, Ajah, Lagos.
Themed “Visionary Leadership: Sustaining the Vision,” the event marked the official swearing-in of Dr. Hassan Ismail as the 2025 President, signalling the start of his tenure. This event also celebrated the achievements of Yetunde Oyeyipo, the outgoing 2024 President, whose tenure was characterized by remarkable progress and impactful leadership.

This dynamic team is committed to advancing JCI’s mission of ‘providing leadership development opportunities that empower young people to create positive change.’
In her farewell address, Ms. Oyeyipo reflected on the accomplishments of her tenure: “Serving as President of this incredible organization has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life. Together, we expanded the reach of our Royale Academy Program, executed impactful community projects like Project KICK 2.0, and strengthened our partnerships through the Royale Growth Partners initiative. I am confident that Dr. Hassan will continue to elevate our vision and achieve even greater milestones.” She said.
Under her leadership, JCI Lekki Royale achieved significant milestones, including: Hosting the ‘Royale Entrepreneurship Workshop’, which facilitated skill acquisition for members and increasing international exposure through participation in events such as the JCI Africa and Middle East Conference (AMEC) and the World Congress.
Dr. Hassan Ismail, in his inaugural speech, expressed gratitude and outlined his ambitious vision for the coming year:“It is an honor to build on the legacy of great leaders like Ms. Yetunde Oyeyipo. Together, we will continue to empower young professionals, entrepreneurs, and creatives to be change makers in our society. My administration will prioritize impactful initiatives, international collaborations, and opportunities for personal and professional growth among our members.” He state.
Dr. Hassan, a passionate advocate for sustainability and long-time member of JCI Lekki Royale, emphasized his commitment to creating solutions that address societal challenges while empowering the next generation of leaders.
The convention featured several inspiring moments, including a keynote address by Olutoyin Ojomalade, Regional Tax Manager for West Africa at Standard Chartered Bank, offering valuable insights on leadership and sustainability.
Furthermore, A theme presentation by JCI Senator Olawale Bakare, 2022 President of JCI Nigeria, challenged attendees to embrace greater responsibilities in their personal and professional lives.
The inauguration of the 2025 Board Members, signaling a renewed commitment to innovative leadership and community service.
