JNI Women’s Wing Honours Adamawa Hajj Commission Chair

The Acting Executive Chairman of the Adamawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Commission (ADSMPWC), Malam Abubakar Salihu, has dedicated the Award of Excellence presented to him by the Women’s Wing of Jama’atu Nasril Islam (JNI), Adamawa State Chapter, to the staff of the Commission in recognition of their collective commitment to improving Hajj administration in the state.

Receiving the award, Malam Salihu expressed gratitude to the JNI Women’s Wing for recognising his leadership and contributions to the development of Hajj operations in Adamawa State. He described the honour as a motivation to redouble efforts towards delivering more efficient and pilgrim-centred services.

He reaffirmed the Commission’s commitment to introducing reforms and strengthening service delivery to ensure that intending pilgrims from Adamawa State continue to enjoy quality welfare services before, during and after the annual Hajj pilgrimage.

The Award of Excellence was presented in recognition of Malam Salihu’s exemplary leadership, dedication to public service, and sustained efforts to improve the welfare of pilgrims and the administration of Hajj activities in the state.

Presenting the award, the leader of the JNI Women’s Wing described Malam Salihu as a “history maker,” applauding the reforms and administrative initiatives introduced under his leadership to promote transparency, accountability and operational efficiency within the Commission.

She noted that the Commission had recorded significant improvements in service delivery, adding that the reforms had helped restore public confidence and address several longstanding challenges associated with Hajj administration in Adamawa State.

The ceremony concluded with special prayers for the continued success of the Commission and its leadership, while participants commended the JNI Women’s Wing for recognising outstanding public service and encouraging excellence, integrity and effective leadership in public institutions.
