The achievement places JoSTUM among Nigeria’s leading universities, according to the global rankings by Study Abroad Aid, which evaluated 8,536 universities worldwide.

Headquartered in South Korea, Study Abroad Aid is the largest and most comprehensive database of universities globally. It provides resources, guides, and information for students studying abroad.
The criteria for ranking included affordable tuition fees, a solid academic reputation, accreditation for Bachelor’s and Master’s programs, an active official website, and regularly updated tuition information.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof Isaac Itodo, announced the achievement at the 322nd Senate meeting held recently.

He congratulated the university community and urged them to maintain the momentum of achievements and continue collaborative efforts in building a 21st-century university.
