Popular actress Juliana Olayode has disclosed that her relationship with senior colleague and former mentor, Funke Akindele, has been officially restored.

In a recent interview with Chude Jideonwo, Olayode shared that the rekindling of their bond followed years of fervent prayer. She emphasised that her move toward reconciliation was not motivated by professional ambition or career strategy, but by a genuine desire to reconnect and maintain a harmonious relationship.

The actress expressed profound gratitude for Akindele’s support during difficult periods in her life, citing this as a key reason for seeking a path toward peace.

Reflecting on her personal life, Olayode also provided a rare glimpse into her marriage to her husband, Kayode. She described their union as being built on a foundation of peace and mutual respect rather than restriction.
