Ukah, who also serves with the Nigeria Police Force, is scheduled to face South Africa’s Ceileigh Niedermayr in a highly anticipated Women’s Strawweight Showcase Bout. This match will headline the groundbreaking event taking place on Saturday, July 19, at the Grand Arena, GrandWest in Cape Town, South Africa.

With an impressive unblemished record of 6-0, Ukah will put her skills to the test against Niedermayr, who holds a record of 3-2. This bout marks a significant moment in history as it is part of the first-ever global MMA event hosted on African soil, showcasing the diversity and burgeoning talent emerging from the continent.

The PFL Cape Town card will kick off the 2025 PFL Africa Tournament, featuring first-round matchups in both the heavyweight and bantamweight divisions, each consisting of an eight-man bracket. A total of 32 fighters from 15 African nations will compete across four divisions, vying for the title of inaugural PFL Africa Champion.

In addition to the continental tournament, the evening will also include elite international competition as part of the PFL Champions Series.
