JUST-IN: 2 Abducted LG Officials Regain Freedom In Kwara

The Director of Personnel Management and the Legal Officer of Isin local government area of Kwara State, Alh Musbau Amuda and Barr. Elizabeth Arinde who were abducted last Friday by gunmen have regained their freedom.

LEADERSHIP gathered that the local government officials were rescued unhurt by the combined team of security agencies and the local vigilantes.

 

Sources told our correspondent that the duo were rescued midnight on Monday and were taken to Omu-Aran, the headquarters of Irepodun local government area, where they passed the night.

 

Alh Amuda’s wife confirmed the release of her husband and his colleague Monday morning.
