Bandits have released Ahmed Abubakar Zakka, his wife and their six-month-old daughter, who were abducted in Millennium City, Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The family’s release came days after a video emerged showing Zakka pleading for public assistance while holding his crying infant daughter, as his captors demanded N300 million ransom for their freedom.
The family was abducted on October 6, 2026, when bandits invaded Alrahus Estate in Millennium City and reportedly moved from house to house in search of victims.
Details surrounding the family’s release, including the circumstances under which they regained their freedom, were not immediately clear as of the time of filing this report.
Further details will be reported as events unfold.
