Hauwa Adamu was abducted from her residence on June 28, 2024, in Kahutu village of Danja local government area of Katsina State, creating concerns among the musician’s fans and the local community.

The kidnappers initially demanded a whopping ransom of N900 million from the singer. However, in a latest development, a video posted TikTok by Rarara shows him reunited with his mother. In the video’s caption, Rarara expressed profound gratitude for her safe return, thanking everyone who supported him during the ordeal.

Despite the joyous news of her release, details regarding her release and whether ransom was paid or not remained unclear at press time.

Local authorities and security agencies were yet to provide additional information on the circumstances surrounding her release.
