Son of a former governor of Kaduna state, Faisal Ahmed Makarfi, has died in a road crash on Saturday evening.

LEADERSHIP gathered that the accident occurred along Kaduna-Zaria dual carriageway in Kaduna State.

The deceased was a son of former governor of Kaduna State, erstwhile Senator representing Kaduna North and one-time interim national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi.

 

A civil engineer by training, late Faisal attended Kaduna International School and then proceeded to Adesoye College, Offa, Kwara State, for his secondary education. He attended the University of Greenwich, London, for undergraduate and master’s degree and enrolled for PhD at the same institution.
