Just In…Ex-SGF, Babachir Lawal, Dogara Visit Wike In Rivers

Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal and former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara, on Saturday visited Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, at his private residence in Port Harcourt.

Lawal and Dogara are prominent members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) while Wike is of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)

The visit came barely 24 hours after both of them addressed Northern Christians’ summit in Abuja, where they vowed oppose the Muslim-Muslim ticket of the ruling APC.

However, speaking with newsmen shortly after a closed door meeting with the Rivers State Governor, the duo said they were on a brotherly visit as part of the agenda setting to build an all inclusive Nigeria.
