Gombe State governor, Inuwa Yahaya, has emerged the new chairman of the Northen State Governors Forum (NSGF).

Yahaya, elected governor in 2019, won reelection bid to govern Gombe State for a second term in 2023 general election.
He succeeds the outgoing governor of Plateau State, Simon Bako Lalong, as chairman of NSGF.
