According to the source, the assailants stormed Udeh’s home and shot him in the presence of his family.

The armed men, numbering about five, invaded his house on motorcycles while he was entering his house and shot him infront of his family members.

“As soon as he entered the compound, they surrounded him and opened fire on him and he died on the spot,” the source narrated.

When contacted, the APC State Organising Secretary, James Ornguga, who confirmed the incident said, Udeh was shot in his house by unknown assailants.

According to him, “Yes, we lost Hon. Ejeh Udeh from Otukpo. I’m told he was assassinated in front of his house by gunmen who took nothing from him”.

However, Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Benue State Command, Udeme Edet said she was yet to get such information when contacted.
