Kiru quoted the Commissioner of Education, Alhaji Umar Doguwa to have explained that the postponement was due to some urgent reasons.

According to the statement, another day for resumption would soon be announced by the ministry.

“I wish to inform pupils, students and parents that the announcement earlier made for schools resumption on 8th and 9th Sept, 2024 is now being postponed due to some urgent reasons that would help in improving conducive learning atmosphere for our children.
