JUST-IN : Kebbi Assembly Speaker, Muhammad Ankwai Dies

The Speaker of the Kebbi State House of Assembly, Hon. Muhammad Usman Ankwai, is dead.

Ankwai, who represented Zuru Constituency on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), reportedly passed away on Monday night. However, details surrounding the circumstances of his death were still sketchy as of the time of filing this report.

He was elected Speaker at the inauguration of Kebbi State House of Assembly on June 8, 2023, and had since presided over legislative activities in the state.
