The organised labour on Wednesday withdrew from the ongoing discussions on the minimum wage with the Federal Government.
This decision followed proposals from the Federal Government and the Organized Private Sector (OPS) suggesting minimum wages of between N48,000 and N54,000 respectively.
The labour representatives have criticised these figures as “ridiculous,” especially in light of the fact that the OPS has admitted that its members typically pay no less than N78,000.
