JUST-IN: NECO Releases 2024 Unity School Common Entrance Exam Results

The National Examinations Council (NECO) has released the results of the 2024 National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE) for Unity Schools.

The Minister of State for Education, Dr. Yusuf Sununu, made this known during a press briefing on the outcome of the examination on Tuesday.

Recall that this year’s examination was written on Saturday, June 1, 2024, in Nigeria, as well as Benin Republic and Togo.

LEADERSHIP reports that 71,291 candidates registered for the 2024 NCEE while 66,931 candidates sat for the examination and 4,360 were absent.

The Minister revealed that out of the maximum obtainable score of 210, one candidate obtained the highest score of 203, while 13 candidates obtained the lowest score of 1.

“This year, an unprecedented number of 52 candidates (2 candidates from Lagos State and 50 candidates from Rivers State) were involved in examination malpractice,” the Minister noted.
