The Niger State Emergency Management Agency (N-SEMA) has released an update on the flood disaster in Mokwa local government area of the State with 151 persons confirmed dead.

The agency in the updated report also indicated that 11 persons were injured while 503 households were affected.

The director-general of the Agency, Abdullahi Baba Arah, said over 3,018 residents were displaced from three communities affected, while two bridges and two roads were submerged by water.
