JUST-IN: Ooni Visits Olubadan-designate, Oba Ladoja, Ahead Of Coronation

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi paid a visit to the Olubadan-designate, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja at his residence located at Ondo Street in the Bodija area of Ibadan, on Sunday.

Oba Ogunwusi was received by Oba Ladoja alongside his entourage on Sunday afternoon.

Coronation activities for the Olubadan-designate begin this week following which Oba Ladoja will be installed as the 44th Olubadan on Friday, September 26, 2025.

The former Oyo State governor’s emergence as Olubadan followed the passage of Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, who joined his ancestors on July 7, 2025, at the age of 90 years.

President Bola Tinubu is among eminent personalities expected to grace the coronation where over 2,000 security personnel were scheduled to be deployed to main peace and order as the city of Ibadan, Oyo State capital plays host to mammoth crowd across the country and beyond.
