The Executive Chairman of Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS), Dr Zayd Abubakar, has advised vehicle owners against patronizing quacks for number plates and vehicle particulars because the service has a seamless registration platform for these transactions.
A statement issued by Head of Corporate Communication of KADIRS, Jameel Zakari, pointed out that all renewals can be done online via www.kadvreg.net or www.kadvreg.net.
The statement also said that vehicle owners can equally visit KADIRS area revenue offices closer to them or ‘’visit the headquarters for support and assistance in the entire process.’’
Dr Abubakar who advised residents of Kaduna state to avoid using fake vehicle papers and fake plates number, said that KADIRS is tackling the menace and the effort is yielding results.
According to him, the campaign against fake papers is being carried out ‘’ with the total support and cooperation received from the Kaduna State Command of the Nigeria Police Force.’’
The statement disclosed that taxpayers and the residents of Kaduna state are now more vigilant, adding that ‘’the service is happy to work with any available information that will be of assistance and facilitate the arrest and prosecution of the criminals involved.’’
The synergy between KADIRS and the police on one hand, as well as the cooperation of residents on the other hand, ‘’ will assist in the eradication of the monster that is mitigating the revenue generation in the state, especially in the aspect of motor vehicle administration,’’ Dr Abubakar added
