Kaduna Court Remands 4 Security Guards Over Death Of SS2 Student

Four personnel of Kaduna State Vigilance Service (KADVIS) have been ordered to be remanded in a correctional centre by a Chief Magistrate Court over the murder of one Ahmed Musa.

Musa, a Senior Secondary School 2 student of Government Technical College Malali in Kaduna North local government area of Kaduna State was brutally murdered on February 16, 2025, with his body found within the school premises.

The Chief Magistrate, Naheed Ibrahim Abdulhamid ordered that the four defendants be remanded in a correctional facility till the next adjourned date.

The suspects include Timothy Abba, 56 years; Joseph Ogoni, 41 years; Bulus Adamu, 42 years, and Francis Adamu, 48 years old.

They were posted as security personnel to the school and currently answering charges before the Kabala Doki Magistrate Court for alleged criminal conspiracy and negligence which may have led to the death of the victim.

They were being accused of having connection to the murder due to negligence resulting in their alleged inability to prevent the killing nor reporting the incident when it occurred.

The case has been adjourned till May 27, 2025.
