Kaduna Hosts Hearing On Constitution Amendment Today

The Kaduna State government is to host a public hearing of the North West zone of the House of Representatives Committee on Constitution Review today, as part of the ongoing amendment of the 1999 Constitution.

A statement issued by the chief press secretary, Malam Ibraheem Musa yesterday said the hearing would cover the northern zones.

The statement further said the Kaduna zonal hearing would hold at the Conference Hall of Hassan Usman Katsina House (State House) Kawo, and delegates of Kano, Jigawa and Katsina states are expected to make presentations at the event.

Musa said Governor Uba Sani would be the chief host of the occasion and would give the opening remarks, while the Speaker of Kaduna State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Yusuf Liman wou;d make a presentation on behalf of the state.
