He sponsored the students through the Hussaini Kero Foundation, which strives to boost the region’s human capacity-building efforts.

The legislator’s spokesman, Aminu Josawa, told journalists that the benefiting students were selected because they displayed exceptional promise and dedication throughout their studies.

“Their commitment to excellence and drive to make a meaningful impact in the healthcare realm have been evident, thus reaffirming the credibility and wisdom of Hon. Hussani Abdulkarim Kero’s selection process”, he said.

Jasawa noted that Hon Kero was investing in the health sector because of the need to address the current shortage of healthcare professionals. “By doing so, he proactively addressed a critical issue while benefitting his community for generations,” he added.

He said the lawmaker established the Kero Foundation in line with his drive to enhance the capacities and living conditions of his constituent, noting that ‘so far, the Foundation has embarked on the implementation of different people-oriented programmes and policies in the constituency.’

Two beneficiaries of the Lawmaker’s scholarship, Bashir Ibrahim and Jedidah Reuben, described the gesture as commendable, noting that it allowed them to pursue their dream courses with relative ease.

Some residents commended the Legislator for what they described as commendable human capacity-building efforts, which have garnered widespread acclaim from local and national stakeholders.

Speaking on behalf of some residents, an elder, Alhaji Aliyu, said Kero’s dedication and tireless endeavours to uplift the community have set an unparalleled example for public officials nationwide.

“His passion for education and commitment to community development have positioned him as an invaluable advocate for the people he represents.

“As Kero continues to spearhead transformative projects and initiatives within the region, the Kaduna South Federal Constituency anticipates witnessing positive and sustainable growth in various sectors.

‘The success stories of the students sponsored by the Hussaini Kero Foundation will undoubtedly inspire generations while contributing to the constituency’s overall social and economic fabric.

“By focusing on health courses, the honourable member is ensuring that we have well-trained professionals who will contribute to improving our community’s health services.

This initiative highlights his understanding of education’s importance and positive impact on society. We are incredibly grateful for his leadership and support,” he noted.
