Kaduna PDP Decries Govt’s Inaction Against Banditry

Kaduna State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has expressed concern over reports of attacks by bandits in Kagara and Ugom communities of Giwa and Kajuru LGAs which resulted in loss of lives, injuries to many and rustling of cattle on June 4 and 6, 2025 respectively.

According to reports, two community members, Salisu Aminu and Stephen Alhassan, were killed in the attacks.

According to a statement by the chairman, Sir Edward Percy Masha, the PDP extended  condolences to the families and communities of the deceased and prayed for the quick recovery of those injured.

“Wes strongly condemn the state and federal governments’ failure to constantly ensure the security and welfare of the people and call on the Uba Sani-led APC administration  in Kaduna State to  immediately review its approach in protecting lives and property,  awaken the dormant Ministry of Internal Security & Home Affairs to its responsibility and enhance collaboration with federal forces,” he said.

Marsha who is the chairman, Forum of 19 Northern States and FCT PDP Chairmen also urged relevant state agencies like SEMA and the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs to provide urgent care and support for survivors.
