This endorsement was declared during a gathering at the APC office in Kano, where key leaders highlighted Dr. Tejuosho’s strong advocacy for marginalized groups and her ongoing efforts to address the challenges faced by PLWDs.

Dr. Tejuosho, who also heads the QAT Foundation, has been widely recognized for her work in alleviating poverty and promoting inclusivity.

Her dedication to humanitarian causes and long-standing commitment to empowering vulnerable communities were key reasons cited by APC leaders for her endorsement.

The APC disability leader in Kano, Alhaji Adamu Gidado Gwangwazo praised her leadership in a statement issued on Wednesday, emphasizing, “Dr. Tejuosho’s passion for social justice and her extensive experience place her in a prime position to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our people.”

Support for her nomination came from other prominent voices, including Sa’adu Ibrahim, the APC Kano Central disability leader, and Engr Musa Shaga, chairman of the Kano chapter of the Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities (JONAPWD).

They highlighted the achievements of the QAT Foundation under her leadership, particularly its focus on poverty reduction and improving access to resources for PLWDs.

In a joint press statement signed by other notable figures, including Yahya A. Yahya, chairman of the Kano Cripple Association, and Aminu Aminu, former special advisor to the ex-governor of Kano State, party leadership was urged to consider her nomination carefully.

The leaders collectively expressed confidence that Dr. Tejuosho’s appointment could bring about much-needed reforms and programs aimed at uplifting vulnerable communities across Nigeria.
