Kano Assembly Celebrates Governor Yusuf Over LEADERSHIP Award

The Kano State House of Assembly has rejoiced with the state governor, Abba Yusuf, on receiving the prestigious 2024 Leadership Governor of the Year award in recognition of his remarkable records in the education sector.

The speaker of the House, Hon. Jibril Falgore, in a statement signed by his spokesperson Kamaluddeen Shawai, described the award as well deserved and a symbol of the governor’s commitment to hard work and dedication towards broadening access to quality education for all citizens.

He said the award is a testament to His Excellency’s unwavering commitment, visionary leadership, and transformative impact on the educational landscape of the state, which serves as an inspiration to many.

“Under his stewardship, we have witnessed remarkable progress in broadening access to quality education for all citizens of Kano, irrespective of their background or location.

“I, Rt. Hon. Speaker, on behalf of the Kano State House of Assembly, pray to Almighty Allah to continue to bless and protect you with good health, wisdom, and strength to lead the state to greater heights,” the speaker added.
