“We are committed to providing efficient services to all our customers, including key institutions like BUK. Our goal is to ensure uninterrupted and quality power supply while also fostering strategic collaborations to promote innovation for a sustainable energy future”, Jimeta stated.

He emphasised that KEDCO, under its current investor, Future Energies Africa (FEA), is undergoing sustainable transformation to enhance operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and strategic partnerships that support national development, Sani Bala Sani, Head, Corporate Communications of the firm quoted him as saying.

In his remarks, Professor Haruna Musa commended KEDCO’s leadership for its efforts and expressed BUK’s appreciation for the longstanding positive relationship between the two entities.

He further extended the hands of collaboration, particularly in areas of research, training, and knowledge exchange.

“As a leading academic institution, we are keen on engaging with critical stakeholders like KEDCO. Together, we can explore innovative solutions to energy challenges while contributing to human capital development,” the Vice Chancellor noted.

The visit concluded with both parties expressing mutual interest in deepening institutional ties, enhancing service delivery, and making meaningful contributions to the region’s socio-economic development.
