The governor of Kano State, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, on Tuesday morning, arrived at the venue of the 17th Annual LEADERSHIP Conference and Awards.

The event, which is currently underway, is taking place at the Old Banquet Hall of the State House, Abuja.

Governor Yusuf arrived at about 10:14am in company of aides and supporters in his trademark white flowing ‘Babban Riga’ dress with a red cap to match – an insignia of the popular Kwankwasiya political movement in Kano State.

LEADERSHIP reports that the occasion also marks the grand finale of the 20th Anniversary of the LEADERSHIP newspaper brand.

Governor Yusuf is billed to receive the ‘Governor of the Year’ award in recognition of his impactful leadership and contributions to governance in Kano State since his election in 2023.
