The managing director of the Kano State Housing Corporation (KSHC), Alhaji Abdullahi Rabiu, has issued a quit notice to all occupants of illegal structures at Kwankwasiyya City and the Governor’s Lodge within 24 hours or risk demolition.

According to him, the structures are unauthorised and encroaching on government land.

“Failure to comply with these directives will result in demolition and removal of the structures.”

Alhaji Rabiu, in a statement issued by the corporation’s director of public enlightenment, Ismail Gwammaja, reiterated the government’s resolve to uphold the law and protect government properties.

He therefore urged all the affected individuals to seek alternatives and vacate the premises within the stipulated time to avoid embarrassment.
