Kano Pillars Football Club has reinstated its head coach, Usman Abdallah, after a five-week suspension imposed on him following a confrontation with supporters during a goalless match against Bayelsa United.

The incident, which occurred at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kofar Mata, sparked tensions between Abdallah and a section of the club’s fans dissatisfied with the team’s performance.

However, in an announcement made on Tuesday morning, Kano Pillars confirmed that Abdallah has been reinstated and would resume his duties, leading the team for the remainder of the current Nigeria Premier League season.

Reports indicate that Abdallah has already returned to training sessions with the team, gearing up for their crucial Matchday 32 clash against Heartland scheduled for next week.

The club’s decision to reinstate the coach was targeted at stabilising the team ahead of preparations for the final phase of the league campaign.
