Kano State government has unveiled five new projects for the state’s development.
The projects include the construction of Panda -Hamdullahi – Albasu – Sakwayan Dutse road, reconstruction of Rogo – Bari -Falgore Mahangi road, completion of 5Km roads in Garko local government area, general renovation of Gidan Murtala office complex (Municipal LGA) and the completion of 5Km road in Kibiya LGA.

The commissioner for works and housing, Engr. Marwan Aminu, disclosed this during the third tender opening for infrastructure development projects in the state.

According to him, the state is committed to bring projects that will alleviate suffering and make life better.

He said road projects such as Panda -Hamdullahi – Albasu – Sakwayan Dutse road when completed, would ease transportation and boost agricultural activities for residents of those communities.

ā€œThe tender is not all about the person with the least money but we would check for technical competency, financial liquidity and availability of machinery among other analysis for competent contractors to handle the projects,ā€ he stated.
