The governor  made the pledge in Kano yesterday during the flag off ceremony of the 2024 polio eradication campaign in Dawakin Kudu local government area of the state.

He said in its determination to intensify vaccination efforts, government would work with local communities to reach every part of the state to ensure that all children are vaccinated.

He added that the state government would continue to ensure vigilance to ensure routine immunisation among children in order to give them the necessary protection.

While calling on parents to make their wards available for immunisation, Yusuf tasked them on maintaining good hygiene, assuring them of government’s commitments to programmes and policies that would improve their wellbeing.
