Arrangements for the relocation of administrative duties to the permanent site of Kaduna State University have been completed by the management committee of the school.
The university spokesperson Adamu Nuhu Bargo who stated this in a statement said the development is in view of the fact that the administrative block/Senate building is at 95 per cent completion.
The principal officers and some members of the management committee inspected the permanent site located at Rigachikun, Igabi local government area on Wednesday, 15th February, 2023.
According to the statement, the vice chancellor, Prof Abdullahi Musa, stated that the relocation will take place before the end of March, 2023.
He said that the standard of work at the permanent site is of high quality which can measure up to any civil structure globally and said the successes recorded is as a result of the proactiveness and vision of the governor of Kaduna State.
Musa also disclosed that students will gradually move to the permanent site over the course of time to join management and senate committee members.
Other existing structures at the permanent site include the Faculties of Engineering and Law, students hostels, twin lecture theatres and the school for governance.
It will be recalled that the ground breaking ceremony of the permanent site was done by Mallam Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai, the governor of Kaduna State and Visitor to the University on Friday, March 5, 2021.
