The Katsina State government has ordered the suspension of a principal over alleged sexual harassment of a female student of Government Secondary School, Dantankari in Dandume local government area of the state.
A statement signed by the director of press for the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) Abdullahi Aliyu Ra’adua stated the governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, had directed the immediate suspension of Lawal Ibrahim for the alleged sexual harassment of the student and investigation of the allegation with dispatch, and report back to him.
He also urged the commissioner of police to investigate the allegation.
Police Public Relations Officer ASP Abubakar Sadiq said the command was aware of the allegation, and was already investigating the matter.
