All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kebbi State has urged its supporters to remain calm over the outcome of last Saturday’s presidential and National Assembly (NASS) elections conducted in the state by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The state publicity secretary of the party, Isah Assalafi, made the appeal when he addressed journalists at the Kebbi Central senatorial office of the APC in Birnin Kebbi.

Assalafi further noted that though, APC has lost some seats of the Senate and House of Representatives to the opposition but, the outcome would not deter APC from forging ahead towards ensuring victory in the governorship and state assembly elections.

He called on supporters of the party to come out en-masse to vote for the party’s governorship candidate, Dr Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu and other candidates seeking for elective posts in the state assembly on March 11. He commended the people in the state for maintaining law and order during and after the recent elections.
